Enjoy the sunset!

You're surrounded by the ocean even when staying in Stone Town. Although it might not be ideal for swimming, it's perfect for watching cargo ships being loaded or witnessing youngsters dive into the sea at Forodhani Gardens, competing to do so in the most spectacular way. There is something special about watching a local dhow flaunt itself against the sun setting on the horizon.

Excellent value

If a reasonably-priced comfortable stay in the heart of Stone Town is required, the Sheba Boutique Hotel is worth a stay.

The staff are wonderful and the breakfast is good with delicious coffee.

Rooms are understandably a little small but clean. Climbing the narrow stairs could be a problem for some but help with luggage is readily offered.

Thanks again to all who made our stay most pleasant.

The hotel is in a prime location, it is beautiful and every detail is very well thought. Staff is lovely and very helpful (special mention to Bianca). Room was very comfortable and big, with a very nice ensuite bathroom. Very comfy mattress, and both ceiling fan and aircon to choose. The detail of having a hot/cold water dispenser for guests on every level is very handy and convenient. Breakfast is excellent, wide a wide range of freshly made options every morning.
